The Board of Directors of the Bank of Russia at its next meeting on July 22 will decide to lower the key rate again, according to analysts polled by Vedomosti. The majority of experts - 13 out of 18 - predict its decline by at least 50 basis points (b.p.) to 9% per annum. The maximum step expected by experts from the regulator is 100 bp. p.: seven analysts do not exclude such a development of events. The minimum – keeping the rate at the current level – is predicted by one expert.
